Alcohol: 13%
Grape(s): Nebbiolo
Location: Barengo, Alto Piemonte, Italy (Colline Novaresi DOC)
Tasting Notes: Mid-weight and elegant. Aromas of rose petals, red berries, and crushed minerals. Fresh and vibrant on the palate, with fine tannins and a clean, stainless-steel-aged finish. A pure, everyday expression of Nebbiolo.
Notes: Hand-harvested in early October. Fermented with native yeasts, 14-day skin maceration, aged entirely in stainless steel. Sustainable farming on glacial soils with high acidity and excellent drainage. Vines planted in 2007.
Food pairing: Ideal with mushroom risotto, roast chicken, pork loin, or charcuterie. Also pairs beautifully with alpine cheeses, tomato-based pasta dishes, and grilled vegetables.
Winery Story: Gilberto Boniperti founded the estate in 2003, inspired by his grandfather Barton and the abandoned vineyards of Alto Piemonte. After studying agriculture and oenology in Milan, he began reclaiming family land in Barengo. Today, Boniperti produces expressive, terroir-driven wines that honor the region’s heritage and embrace sustainable viticulture.
