Alcohol: 13,5%

Grape(s): 60% Viura, 30% Garnacha Blanca, 10% Malvasía

Localization: Rioja Alavesa, Spain

Tasting Notes: A fresh wine with a smooth entrance in the mouth, with good acidity but at the same time velvety.

Notes: The grape harvest is carried out by hand and the grapes then undergo a meticulous selection process. They are then pressed and left to macerate in stainless steel vats. Oak barrels are used for the fermentation and the wine is left for a further 4 months with its lees in the same barrels where frequent stirring is carried out.

Food pairing: Great as an aperitif before a meal. It goes very well with appetizers and snacks, light lunches, and dinners. Try it with fish and dishes containing vegetables.

The Domain: Bodegas Tierra de Agricola Labastida has always been linked to manual viticulture since it began. The family has lived in and around Labastida, surrounded by cafes, vineyards, and jugs of wine. Their love and passion for wine have been passed down generation through generation and the land has passed from father to son so as to retain the principles of this dynasty of vine farmers.

Bodegas Tierra de Agricola Labastida carefully looks after its vineyards in order to obtain the best wines. All its grapes are harvested and selected by hand to make its top-quality wines. Bodegas Tierra de Agricola Labastida owns 24 hectares of vineyards, some of which are 100 years old. Tempranillo vines from Rioja Alavesa are king in Bodegas Tierra de Agricola Labastida´s vineyards. Garnacha Blanca, Garnacha Tinta, Graciano, Viura and Malvasía complete the range of grape varieties that they have planted in their own vineyards.

Bodegas Tierra de Agricola Labastida is located in the town of Labastida, in Rioja Alavesa. The winery is located in the Jewish quarter of Labastida and is made up of 4 different buildings: the family home, offices, a dining room open to visitors, and an open-air patio where the wine is made. Underneath the winery, there is an interesting network of caves that date from the 14th and 15th centuries. Bodegas Tierra de Agricola Labastida´s caves are the perfect place to age the family´s wines.
