Tasting Notes: Food-friendly, everyday wine! Juicy currants and black fruits with pepper, earth, and leather on the finish.

Notes: Normally based on Dolcetto, then Barbera and Nebbiolo and mixed blacks, in varying percentages depending on the year The one blended Corsini wine. This, effectively, is the farm s second label, created to enable it to keep a high standard with its other wines (everything is estate bottled at Ruggeri Corsini; nothing is sold in bulk to traders, a fact that makes quality control for a wine like Matot particularly important). Matot is, as Nicola says, a glass of Piedmontese red.

The Domain: We are Loredana Addari and Nicola Argamante, both graduated in Agriculture and specialized in Viticulture and Oenology, united by the same dream.

In 1994 we decided to change our lives, we left the city life to buy a small estate in the heart of the Langhe: Monforte d'Alba, a historical village characteristic for its ancient stone houses. Located among the vineyard landscapes of the Piedmont UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is also one of the "100 most beautiful villages of Italy".

Today it is a family-run winery: the property is managed by us and our two daughters Francesca and Vittoria. The estate takes its name "Corsini" from the homonymous hamlet in Monforte d'Alba where it is located and "Ruggeri", from the surname of Nicola's mother, who contributed financially to the launch of our winery allowing us to give life to our dream.

At the beginning our production only consisted of the traditional wines of the Langhe: Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Barolo.
At the beginning our production only consisted of the traditional wines of the Langhe: Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Barolo. As years went by and the winery was enlarged, we added more wines to the classics, including several reds, a rose and two white wines.

In 1997 we started exporting to the United States of America, which today is our main market. Currently our wines can be found, besides the USA, in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, UK, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Japan, Australia, Luxembourg, Hong Kong and, of course, Italy.
