Alcohol: 15.2%

Grape(s): 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 7% Petite Sirah, 5% Malbec

Localization: Napa Valley, California, USA

Tasting Notes: A dark ruby wine with inviting aromas of cinnamon, blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, and cedar. A juicy mid-palate shows flavors of cherry and layers of texture. The natural sweetness of the fruit balances the bright acidity and follows through to the lingering coffee and vanilla cream-laced finish.

Notes: The fruit for our vintage was harvested from September 15th to October 15th. The grapes were hand-picked at night, carefully sorted in the vineyard, then brought to the cellar and de-stemmed. This meticulous care taken in the vineyard by Vineyard Manager Gustavo Alvina and his crew delivered bright, ripe fruit, with substantial mouthfeel and complexity. Following a cold soak, a high-temperature fermentation occurred to ensure maximum flavor and color extraction. The wine was racked to 30-percent new American oak barrels and aged for 18 months prior to bottling. 70% was aged in neutral French Oak to maintain the freshness and elegance of the vintage

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: The Cabernet Sauvignon is very deep garnet-purple in color with vibrant wild blueberries, blackberries and boysenberries with red and black currants, bay leaves, lavender and cedar chest. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is vibrant and refreshing with a firm, grainy frame and lively finish.

Food pairing: It pairs beautifully with a vegetarian chili and cornbread slathered in a generous helping of sweet cream butter.
