Tasting Notes: Beautiful dark ruby color. Bouquet : Expressive nose with aromas of red fruits and liquorice. In the mouth : Rich with aromas of red fruits. A beautiful intensity and pleasant tannins with a well balanced oak.

Notes: The name "Fournières" comes from the practice used to clear this parcel by a burn-out process consisting in burning the remains of clearing by building stoves with dried clods of earth called Fournières.

The Domain: Les Parcellaires de Saulx is a tailor-made wine house located in Meursault which was created in September 2017 on the foundations of a centuries-old establishment located on the same premises. It enjoys a privileged location with an outstanding view over the vineyards of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, located as it is at the outer edge of the first of these villages without being overlooked. In addition, it can be justifiably proud of its beautiful and extensive historic cellars of more than 1500 square meters, which ensure that wines are produced, aged, and stored in perfect conditions.

We sell around 30 appellations produced on the most prestigious terroirs of Burgundy, from Côte de Beaune to Côte de Nuits, from village appellations to Grand Crus. We vinify and age the musts or wines that we have acquired from our wine-producing partners with the deepest respect for their work and for the terroir by paying particular attention to their selection and more specifically by seeking out wine producers who use organic or biodynamic practices to cultivate their vines.

Our approach is based on not blending any wines that come from different sources, so each wine is the product of the vines belonging to a single wine grower and very often come from only one of their plots, out of respect for the authenticity of the terroir, the work of the wine producer and the diversity of the Burgundian climats. The wine production and aging practices aim to support and develop the wines without giving them any overriding style, in the same spirit as that which guides us in the choice of our partners.
