Winery Story: Founded in 1795, Domaine Kuentz-Bas is a historic estate rooted in the village of Husseren-les-Châteaux, Alsace. The marriage of the Kuentz and Bas families in 1895 forged a legacy of terroir-driven winemaking, now carried forward by Jean-Baptiste Adam—14th generation vigneron and biodynamic pioneer. The estate’s vineyards span limestone-rich slopes and include prestigious Grand Cru sites like Eichberg and Pfersigberg. This 2023 Pinot Blanc is vinified in ancestral foudres assembled in 1894, capturing the luminous purity and classic elegance of Alsatian whites. It’s a wine of quiet pedigree—refined, expressive, and deeply rooted in tradition.
