The Domain: The winery takes the name from the train track of the "Circum Etnea". A little train that passes through the vineyards. Tenuta means "estate", Ferrata "train track". Our logo is the Etna viewed from above with the train track lane.

Tenuta Ferrata is not just a vineyard, it is the celebration of a family that believes in hard work and sacrifice, and that continues to pass down its deepest values, lending high value to its land and to Sicily trough one of the oldest and most meaningful fruits: the grape. The vineyard is a symbol of rebirth and longevity, and this is how the Virlinzi family has given life to an estate that represents the culmination of an adventure lasting over a hundred years. His passion is fuelled by another great force: Etna, a symbol of energy, vitality and unpredictability, the emblem of those Sicilians who turn their gaze towards "La Muntagna" every day. It is this combination of family, environment and technology that brings to life the excellent Etna Doc wines.
