Alcohol: 13.5%

Grape(s): 100% Nebbiolo

Localization: Piedmont, Italy

Tasting Notes: The color is deep garnet red, and the nose expresses a complexity of aromas of violets and roses, with spicy hints of leather, licorice, and tobacco. The taste is full and intense with a great tannin structure that gives it longevity. This Nebbiolo best accompanies rich sauces, stews, roasts, and hard mature cheeses.

Notes: Harvested by hand in small crates during October, the grapes, once in the cellar, are delicately pressed. The fermentation starts with the use of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures with daily pumping for 30 days. After the racking, the wine is put in large Slavonian oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation takes place.

The Domain: Year after year we seek to capitalize on the experience acquired to try to increase the quality of all our wines. The work in the cellar follows the philosophy of the Langhe tradition, with extensive maceration in stainless steel vats. Aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels - 2500/5000 l. Our vision of traditional Barbaresco is not to over-age the wine in order that the classic aromas and tannins of the Nebbiolo are not overwhelmed by the aromas released by the barrels and extensive aging.
