Tasting Notes: Three premier vineyard sites (Revana, Gran Moraine, and Fennwood) come together to showcase a true ‘cool climate’ Chardonnay of impeccable balance, vibrancy, and expressive texture. Bright and lively with notes of citrus zest, wet stone, and vanilla bean. Rich, rounded, and balanced with notes of toasted brioche and lemon.
Notes: Dry-Farmed, whole-cluster pressed, small-batch ferments with native yeasts. 4 months on lees, 10 months in French Oak (25% New, 19% Second use, 32% Neutral) and 24% in Stainless Steel Tank.
The Domain: Alexana Winery was born of Dr. Madaiah Revana’s love of the great wines of Burgundy. In the spring of 2005, Dr. Revana began a search for both the ideal region and an experienced winemaker with the goal of producing Pinot Noirs that could rival those from Burgundy. His search ended in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, where he met Lynn Penner-Ash.
