In the  ABTEY family, chocolate is a passion that dates back to the 1940s. The  ABTEY chocolate factory was created in 1946 by Amélie and Henry Abtey in a small 20m² premises in Mulhouse. 15 years later, in  1961, they launched what would become the chocolate factory 's specialty: chocolate filled with liqueur without sugar crystallization.
Our love of chocolate is a real family affair. Three generations later, we are still just as passionate about it. Today, our chocolate factory no longer occupies a small 20m² premises but  7,500 m²  of production space in  Heimsbrunn, near Mulhouse, headed by Anne-Catherine Wagner, the granddaughter of Amélie and Henry Abtey.
