Tasting Notes: A classic Eden Valley style of Riesling highlighting the best of the variety. Fine straw in colour with emerald highlights at the rim of the glass. The nose has lifted, fresh cut lime, delicate florals and zesty lemon notes. The palate has a vibrant minerality with bright citrus and a long, driven acid line tying these characters together. The final wine is a beautiful combination of delicate flavours and punchy aromatics in perfect unison with the long and refined finish.

Notes: Harvested during the cool of night at optimal maturity. The grapes were destemmed and pressed off immediately with the free run portion separated for the Single Vineyard Series Riesling. Fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures to retain the vibrancy of the fruit. This was fermented to dryness and has had no malolactic fermentation. This wine has minimal fining and filtration.

The Domain: Milton Park is home to the Thorn-Clarke winery in South Australia, owned and operated by the Clarke family with six generations of grape growing and winemaking heritage. The Milton Park range of wines is made from grapes sourced from estate vineyards and other select vineyard sites in South Australia, allowing consistent quality year to year.

Consisting of Chardonnay and Shiraz, the Milton Park range displays bright varietal fruit character complimented by the restrained use of oak. These wines are excellent for everyday drinking and a fine example of what South Australian vineyards are capable of producing.
