Grape(s): 70% Grenache 30% Mourvèdre

Location: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Rhône Valley, France

Tasting Notes: Rich and full-bodied with layers of black raspberry, cherry, licorice, charred herbs, and earthy smoke. The palate is structured with mineral intensity, graphite, and a touch of singed applewood. Velvety tannins and snappy acidity lead to a long, balanced finish.

Notes: This wine is certified organic and showcases a classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape profile. It’s aged in concrete tanks, emphasizing purity of fruit and terroir. Best enjoyed now or cellared for up to 15 years.

Food pairing: Ideal with grilled lamb, duck confit, beef stew, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses. Its bold structure and earthy depth complement hearty, savory dishes

The Domain: Mas de Boislauzon is a family-run estate in the southern Rhone focusing on Chateauneuf du Pape. Both white and red Chateauneuf du Pape are grown in addition to a special Cuvee, Le Quet, made mostly from very old Grenache vines.

Monique Chaussy runs the property along with her daughter Christine and son, winemaker, Daniel Chaussy. The family represents the sixth generation of wine growers in the area.
