Tasting Notes: This almost-clear sparkling wine is softly effervescent. A bouquet of Granny Smith apple and toast leads to green pear, pineapple and honeysuckle flavors that evaporate in a bright finish. 

The Domain: In 1984, after breathing the world of vineyards and wines for decades, the family's younger generation launched Maria Casanovas Cava, named for their pioneering predecessor, a female winemaker in the early 1900s. The winery is located at the heart of the Penedés region, in Sant Sadurni d´Anoia, the capital of Cava.
