Alcohol: 14%
Grape(s): Barbera, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Localization: Piedmont, Italy
Tasting Notes: Ripe blackberries, plums, spicy notes, cinnamon, leather, menthol, cedar wood, and earthy undertones. Medium intensity and structure, warm and elegant finish, with fine tannins and lingering licorice notes
Notes: The hand-picked grapes undergo further selection by expert personnel, followed by destemming and soft pressing, which ensure that the grapes remain whole and prevent the formation of unpleasant herbaceous notes. Fermentation takes place in tanks made of steel, which prevents contamination better than other materials and guarantees better temperature control.

In 1961, Giacomo Bologna, his son, took over not only his nickname but also the vineyards. Today Raffaella and Giuseppe Bologna dedicate themselves passionately to the family business, being the third generation already.
