Notes: The alcoholic fermentation and the malolactic fermentation take place in thermo-regulated vats. The wine is aged on lees for 8 months.

Winery Story: Domaine Feuillat-Juillot is a distinguished family-run Burgundy estate located in Montagny, within the Côte Chalonnaise. Led by Françoise Feuillat-Juillot and her daughter Camille, the domaine has built a reputation for producing elegant Chardonnay wines from premier cru vineyards that reflect the unique character of the region.
Françoise’s journey into winemaking began at her family’s estate, Domaine Michel Juillot in Mercurey, where she grew up surrounded by vineyards and cellar work. Her lifelong connection to wine was famously marked when she “fell into a vat” as a child. Although she initially pursued international trade studies in Paris, her roots eventually drew her back to Burgundy, where she studied oenology at the University of Dijon. In 1989, she partnered with grower Maurice Bertrand in Montagny-les-Buxy, expanding his modest 14-hectare estate and improving production. Following Bertrand’s passing in 2002, Françoise took full ownership and renamed the estate Domaine Feuillat-Juillot.
Today, the domaine spans 14–15 hectares, with vines averaging 25 to 50 years old across 13 premier cru sites. Françoise now works alongside her daughter Camille, ensuring continuity of family tradition and a shared commitment to quality. Their philosophy emphasizes sustainable viticulture, careful soil management, and hand harvesting to preserve the integrity of the grapes. Each cuvée is vinified individually to highlight the nuances of terroir, resulting in wines that embody freshness, minerality, and elegance—hallmarks of Montagny Chardonnay.
Among their signature wines are the Montagny Premier Cru Les Coères, celebrated for its richness and complexity, and Les Crêts Monopole, a distinctive east-facing vineyard producing refined Chardonnay. Together with other cuvées, these wines showcase the diversity of Montagny’s amphitheater-like terroir and the domaine’s dedication to crafting authentic, expressive Burgundy.
