Tasting Notes: This wine aged in oak casks has wonderful maturity, giving it a slightly woody side. Can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with warm goat's cheese on toast or as an accompaniment to salt or freshwater fish.
The Domain: Located in the heart of Burgundy, the Domaine de l'Ecette vineyard belongs to the Côte Chalonnaise area. This vineyard produces great wines on terroirs with good exposure, favorable to the expression of Burgundy's two noble varieties: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Vinification is done using traditional Burgundy methods while also using modern manufacturing techniques with an ongoing concern for respecting the terroir and the quality of the wines. Today, our estate has 14 hectares of vines and is run by Vincent Daux, who took over the family business in 1997 after undertaking studies in wine-making.
