Alcohol: 12.5%
Grape(s): Chardonnay 80% Pinot Noir 20%
Location: Lombardy, Italy
Tasting Notes: White effervescence and persistent perlage with little bubbles, demonstrating excellent ageing on the yeast. A slight, antique pink that, over time, can develop into the more classical “onion skin” colour.. Intense, well-rounded aroma of ripe fruit with hints of forest fruit, vanilla and currant. Elegant in its harmony, full taste and structure, while maintaining excellent fragrance, freshness and taste.

1928: Mattia Vezzola senior undertakes the production and sale of wine at Moniga del Garda.
1936
It all started with the deep passion of a man who, because he lived in an area with a historical vocation for “Rosé” wines, decided to launch out on his own into winemaking and winery management. Mattia Vezzola senior thus purchased his first vineyards in Moniga in the “Costa” locality, where the current Costaripa winery was to be built about 60 years later.
1938: The first Rosé wine was produced… “Chiaretto di Moniga” with the submerged-cap method.
1954: The second generation of the family, Bruno and Franco Vezzola continued to upgrade the quality of what was once called “Chiaretto di Moniga” both in terms of grape-growing and winemaking.
