The journey of J.Queyrens & Fils began in 1965 with the purchase of the Château Pilet vineyard in Donzac. 1974, Jean and Yvette Queyrens took over the family business, initially known as the Château du Pin-Franc, from Jean's father. They initiated direct sales to individuals, marking the start of a new era for the vineyard. 1988 was pivotal for the family and the vineyard; following Yvette's passing, the Civil Society Vignobles Jean Queyrens et Fils was established. This event signified the official involvement of their children, Alain, Patrick, and Christophe, who joined Jean in continuing the family's winemaking legacy.

The estate covers 65 hectares in the commune of Donzac, located in the Entre Deux Mers region. It is renowned for its hilly landscape that provides natural drainage and optimal exposure for the vines. This geographical advantage, coupled with a reasoned approach to grape variety selection based on soil nature and plot exposure, has allowed the vineyard to thrive. The estate predominantly grows red grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, alongside white grape varieties like Semillon and Sauvignon, ensuring a diverse and high-quality wine production.
