Tasting Notes: Dark red; the nose has an earthy intensity, a brewed blue and black fruit aroma. The palate carries appealing, gourmand dark berry fruits and prune flavouring, extending into a spiced corridor late on, with notes of tea leaves and minerals there. It gives a well-filled Côtes that lasts well, digs in, and has interest.

Food pairing: Terrine of pheasant in dried fruits. Saddle of lamb roasted in juniper berries. Roe deer with pears.
