Tasting Notes: Color, pale yellow with some greenish highlights and a very fine perlage playing on the wine surface. Nose, aroma of delicate aromatic herbs, aniseed and mint, light crust of bread from the long-lasting yeasts. Palate, full-bodied first, mineral and savory after, very dry at the end.
Food Pairing: As an aperitif or better throughout the meal, with fish dishes.
The Domain: The history of the Orsolani winery began at the end of the nineteenth century, when Giovanni Orsolani and his wife Domenica returned from America recalled by the nostalgia of their land, the Canavese. Here they opened a restaurant: the Locanda Aurora and while his wife followed the activity in the kitchen, Giovanni worked in the vineyard and in the cellar for the wine production.
Today, our family is dedicated solely to producing wines and sparkling wines, sourced almost exclusively from our vineyards in the most classic production areas. The Orsolani Winery produces about 150,000 bottles, 90% of which is represented by the Erbaluce, the true love of the family.
With great honor and pleasure, we are members of the Grandi Cru d'Italia Committee, an association that brings together all companies that, with care and dedication, value their production and cultivation areas.
