Tasting Notes: You'll find fresh floral notes, hints of acacia, mint, and a touch of peach. It has a pleasing mid-palate juiciness and a long finish with floral aromas. The wine is dry with a balanced acidity, making it refreshing and lively.
The Domain: The KUENTZ family's activity is listed in the municipal archives from 1795. From its creation, it sold its wines to restaurateurs throughout Alsace and the Vosges and built a new and large cellar in 1894, still in use today. A marriage brought together the KUENTZ and BAS families who associated their names and made the vineyard prosper. Their high-quality wines are sold in Alsace, the Paris region, and abroad.
The family will be ardent defenders and promoters of Alsatian viticulture. The House experiences a great boom, courageously recovers from the ordeal of the Second World War and also prepares the ground for future generations.
The estate prospered and equipped itself with new cellars and an automatic bottling plant. In 1954, the family cultivated 12 hectares of vines planted exclusively on hillsides and developed its sales abroad until 2003.
