Tasting Notes: A wine of immediate pleasure that spontaneously delivers its charm and freshness. It expresses the aromas of hazelnut, citrus (lemon, grapefruit), and exotic fruit.

Notes: Soil: Clay and limestone with marine fossils, Age of the vines: 45 years old. To preserve all the freshness of the aligoté, they gently press the grapes and place the must in stainless steel vats for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The aging is also done in vats.

Food pairing: This wine offers its lemony notes to oysters, sushi as well as steamed or au gratin shellfish. Its pointed roundness also enhances veal and poultry in white or cream sauce. And the mushroom risotto thank him for his aromatic persistence. It can be served simply over goat cheese or parsley ham.

The Domain: Of Burgundian origin,  Anne-Sophie Debavelaere created the wine estate in RULLY in Côte Chalonnaise in 1984.

Over the course of its acquisitions, the estate is enriched with vines from the Rully, Bouzeron, and Beaune appellations. Today, the estate has 11 hectares on the hillsides facing south-east, planted with Burgundy grape varieties (chardonnay, pinot noir, and aligoté).

Having gone to breathe spices in India, discover Ngyapi in Myanmar, the civilization of Peru, and share the life of the tribes in Papua,  FELIX, a  graduate oenologist returns to the estate in 2009 to enrich us with these new flavors discovered in the world. He takes over and combines tradition with modern winemaking techniques.

On the occasion of the operation 'Ruez Vous sur Les Rully' Anne Sophie answers the question of why the domain was baptized Domaine Rois Mages :

The estate has long been called Anne Sophie Debavelaere. I have four sons and I did not want to leave my children too feminine a domain, that's the reason why I chose the domain name of the Three Kings because my maiden name is Melchior and there were four three wise men, the fourth came from India. He also had his arms loaded with riches, he never arrived in Bethlehem because he distributed them on his way. "

Our barrel-vaulted cellars were built on the hillside. They are remarkable for their height and exceptional width. These cellars were used to make crémant until our takeover in the 2000s. In 2015, we completely renovated our winery.

In 2015, the estate won   the Côte Chalonnaise Young Talent Trophy , awarded by Caroline Furtoss, journalist at the Revue des vins de France, as well as Jean - Robert Pitte, president of Paris Sorbonne University.
