The Domain: Roucas Toumba is a charming winery located in the picturesque village of Vacqueyras in the southern Rhône Valley of France. The winery is run by Eric Bouletin, a passionate winemaker who comes from a long line of grape growers dating back to 1580. The name "Roucas Toumba" means "the fallen rock" in old Provençal, referring to the large boulders that often tumble down from the Dentelle Mountains.

Eric Bouletin took over the family vineyard after his father passed away when he was just 16. Initially, he sold his grapes to a cooperative, but in 2000, he decided to build his own cellar and bottle his own wine. Today, he farms 16 hectares of vineyards, all cultivated organically. Eric's philosophy is to "remain free, live off the land," and he channels all his energies into producing perfect grapes.

Eric's dedication to organic farming and his respect for nature have made Roucas Toumba one of the top domaines in Vacqueyras.
