Alcohol: 14%
Grape(s): 80% Grenache 20% Syrah
Localization: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhône, France
Tasting Notes: A powerful nose bursting with spice and mentholated pepper. Red and black fruit notes also come through. The palate is very expressive and complex thanks both to the structure and the wide-ranging flavors that fuse vanilla and caramel (sweet spice) via really ripe red and black fruit, with added freshness from mentholated and floral notes. The very expression of finesse.
Notes: Winemaking process in stainless-steel tank and aging in ½ Muid during 16 month
Food pairing: Enjoy it with red meats, game, or cheese.
The Domain: The Domaine Comte de Lauze was established in 1976. Passionate about the culture of the vine, Anne works with her family. Owners of the estate, breed and cultivate the wines with respect for tradition. Their good knowledge of the terroir as well as evolving cultivation techniques allows them to produce quality wines . The farm consists of 9 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and 12 hectares in the Côtes-du-Rhône. Their wine production is artisanal. We ensure the same care for all our wines.
