Premium Balsamic vinegar of Modena, aged in wine barrels of oak, cherry, chestnut, mulberry, and ash with the addition of aged balsamic vinegar drawn from a series of centuries-old casks.
Created with the must of cooked, sundried grapes and aged wine vinegar, it is sweet, delicate, and considerably dense. It features notes of red fruits, honey, and vanilla.
As is the local custom in Modena, the bottles are hand-finished and sealed in red wax for a beautiful gift. This is a special "ink well" Italian glass bottle. The Piccole Donne balsamic vinegar is a perfect complement to many different meals, even sauces, wild meats, fish, eggs, and smoked sliced meat.
