The Domain: Château La Rose Bellevue has a rich history that spans over a century. The winery was established after World War I by Ulysse Eymas, who planted the first vines in the hamlet of Chêne Rond in Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde. After World War II, his son René Eymas took over and began selling the wine to Bordeaux negociants.
In the 1970s, Jean-Pierre Eymas, René's son, expanded the vineyard to the hills of Saint-Palais and established the new winery, Château La Rose Bellevue. Over the years, the estate has grown to 60 hectares and has been certified for high environmental value.
Today, the winery is run by Jérôme Eymas and his wife Valérie, who continue to develop the range of wines and focus on sustainable viticulture. The winery produces several wines, including Château La Fleur Bellevue and Château Belle Bergère.
