Localization: Loire Valley, France
Tasting Notes: Bright and fresh, with delicate notes of zesty citrus, wildflowers, blackcurrant, and fresh-cut grass over a backbone of chalky minerality.
Notes: Menetou-Salon's stony soil gives the wine a lot of minerality. The vines are an average of 26-30 years old. They are fermented and aged in stainless steel.
The Domain: The Lauverjat family have been growers in Sancerre for generations, but only recently switched to making wine at their Domaine. The estate is a family-owned business comprising 80 hectares. Our winery is designed with respect for the traditions of our ancestors while incorporating the most modern vinification techniques. Our vines, averaging 30 years old, grow on 12 hectares of A.O.C.
