The story begins during the Second World War, Serge PERARD had the idea of recovering some pieces of fish from the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
A fine cook, he concocted a nourishing fish soup…
In 1964, he opened the first 100% seafood restaurant in Le Touquet, and after improving his Fish Soup recipe, notably by adding pure Saffron, he offered it on the menu, and it was an immediate success.
Faced with an ever-increasing demand from customers who wanted to be able to take the product away to consume at home, he decided to create a cannery. Thus was born the workshop that allowed Mr Perard and his team to make his recipes. The story was launched...
