Tasting Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc has a slight amber color and a fresh, aromatic nose. It is grassy and minerally flavored and has a refreshingly crisp mouthfeel. The vines are located outside the Loire Valley AOC boundaries, hence the Vin de France classification.
Notes: 50% juice from direct press & 50% juice that spent 12 hours with skin contact maceration. Aged on the lees for 6 months; slightly filtered before bottling.
Food pairing: Best friend as an aperitif, with all your fish meals and seafood, but also with charcuteries. Don't hesitate to try it with goat cheese.

Lionel Métaireau is the winemaker of Maison Alain De La Treille since 2008. He is a native of Le Pallet in the Muscadet Vineyard, close to Nantes. Belonging to the 6th generation of his family domain, Lionel is born in the winemaking world. He joined the Maison Alain De La Treille in 2008 with the aim of revealing French varietal grapes with a local and unique style.
