Tasting notes A bright and fresh white wine from Southwestern France. This wine introduces you to a silky mouthfeel married with aromas and flavors of pear, apple, yellow citrus fruits, and a hint of fresh herbs to add to the complexity. The finish is zippy, yet smooth, giving you tropical fruit notes, joining with the citrus and orchards fruits.

The Domain: The Domaine de Barreau is located in Boissel, 4 km from Gaillac, direction Cordes-sur-Ciel, the medieval city of the 13th century. The vineyard extends over 45 hectares ideally exposed on the first slopes of the appellation. The plots are spread over different localities with clay-limestone soils, making it possible to obtain wines of great quality. Anxious to develop beautiful vintages, the Domaine takes extreme care in the management of the vines.

Winemaking combines both modern techniques and preciously preserved know-how. Domaine's wines are regularly rewarded at various competitions (Paris agricultural competition, Guide Hachette, South-West wine competition, Gaillac wine competition.) In 1991, the Estate was elected Best Primeur in France.

As a sign of recognition, the Domaine affixes the “Vigneron Indépendant” logo on their bottles. It is the emblem of their know-how and of their belonging to a family of responsible professionals who respect tradition.
