Wilde Weide is Dutch Boerenkaas (Farmhouse) Gouda produced by Jan and Roos van Schie on their small farm on a lake island known as Zwanburgerpolder in South Holland. Wilde Weide means "wild meadow" in Dutch. It is made year round but the taste and appearance may vary according to the season it is made in.
