The Domain: This is from an excellent 7-ha vineyard owned by Laurent Vonderheyden’s star Margaux property, Château Monbrison. Located just north of Margaux near the village of Arcins, on the way to Saint-Julien, this property’s famed neighbors include Château Chasse-Spleen and Château Poujeaux! Soils are classic gravelly limestone clays.
Ch Le Beyan was purchased by Chateau Monbrison, and the wine is now made at their Margaux winery.
