Alcohol: 12.5%
Grape(s): 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay
Localization: Vallee de la Marne, Champagne, France
Tasting Notes: A harmonious version with a fine, raw silk–like texture, this is lightly mouthwatering and very appealing. Offers a fragrant overtone of apple blossoms, anise, and ginger, with flavors of nectarine, blood orange granita, and salted Marcona almond. Minerally finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
Food pairing: This champagne would be a perfect match with any roasted bird, and would also be great alongside dishes of grilled fish or mushrooms.
The Domain: In 1963, Marc Herbart founded his Champagne estate in Mareuil-Sur-Aÿ. Today run by his son, Jean-Paul Hébrart, the house has always aimed to produce its own champagnes.
With 90% of its wines sold abroad, the heart of this estate, located exclusively in Mareuil-Sur-Aÿ, revolves around Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
It is with the respect he has for his terroir that he makes balanced, generous, and fine wines.
