Alcohol: 11.5%

Grape(s): 100% Jacquère

Localization: Savoie, France

Tasting Notes: Clear pale lemon pulp in color, this white has aromas of sliced apples, cantaloupe, and lime sitting in a bed of wildflowers and loamy earth. The palate continues the apple and lime flavors and pulls to a long refreshing finish that adds chalky minerals and subtle white pepper. The lime zest after-taste leaves you salivating for another sip.

Food Pairing: it is a natural match for shellfish

The Domain: Abymes ("Ah BEEM") is one of 16 named crus with hillside vineyards in the Vin de Savoie appellation. Located in eastern France, these alpine vineyards aren't far from Switzerland. All of Abymes' vineyards are located in a narrow alpine valley south of the city of Chambery, by the tiny village of Pont Royal. Abymes wines are light and dry with a subtle refreshing floral/herb character.
