Alcohol: 12.5%
Grape(s): Pinot Noir
Localization: Alsace, France
Tasting Notes: Intense pink, superb string of bubbles, fine and crunchy foam. Aromas of red fruits: strawberry and raspberry. Fresh and harmonious, with hints of red fruits.
Notes: Produced from our best Pinot Noir parcels on clay-limestone terroirs. Vinified in stainless steel tanks with a short maceration of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation is according to the traditional method, followed by maturing on slats for at least 1 year before being sold. The 8 grams of sugar added to the disgorging constitute a subtle dosage that exalts the aromas of this fine Crémant Rosé.
Food Pairing: An ideal partner as an aperitif, the Crémant d'Alsace Rosé will also enhance your red fruit desserts such as raspberry mille-feuilles, red fruit soups, or strawberry macaroons.
The Domain: Bestheim is a grouping of more than 380 families of coop members, who are known as the Moon Chasers.
The Bestheim Moon Chasers demonstrate a unique know-how to sublimate wines, the true arts of gastronomy. The effervescence of our Crémants d'Alsace is born in the cellars of Westhalten. The quieter character of our wines comes from the very heart of the brand, Bennwihr. At Bestheim, each cuvée is a collegial work of art whose story begins with the choice of tools.
The first artists to enter the scene are the winemakers. Driven by the transmission of know-how from a long lineage, they are at the origin of the adaptations between colors - the grape varieties - and the material - the terroirs. Their different ways of cultivating the vines often handed down from generation to generation, are as many brushes, spatulas, or varnishes that give the different plots of land unique volumes, materials, and structures.
At Bestheim, we have chosen to reconcile tradition and modernity, with a policy of regular investment. Investing in cutting-edge technology allows us to guarantee the flawless quality of our grapes, musts, wines, and sparkling wines. Years of investments and improvements have allowed us to achieve total control over every stage in the winemaking process, from harvesting to vinification, filtering, maturing, and even packaging.
Double-annealed stainless steel vats for optimized cleaning, sunken buildings with automatic temperature regulation, maximal use of daylight, wastewater pre-treatment station, solar panels, optimized flow management, and waste recycling: we leave no stone unturned in our quest to deliver the finest wines and Crémants d'Alsace.
