Alcohol: 12.5%
Grape(s): 80% Chardonnay, 20% Aligoté
Localization: Burgundy, France
Tasting Notes: The palate balances citrus-dominant vivacity and the finesse of pear aromas. Lovely length, very lightly honeyed and toasty. The purity of the mineral freshness of a Blanc de Blancs Crémant de Bourgogne, with an elegant and persistent finish.
Food pairing: Very fine and delicate as an aperitif, it goes well with seafood, shellfish and sushis.
The Domain: Lucien and Maria Vitteaut began releasing their sparkling wines in 1951. The savoir-faire and quality of production of these sparkling wines enchanted a local clientele of restaurants and private buyers from Chalon-sur-Saône to Beaune, allowing them to compete and develop against their rivals.
