Tasting Notes: A white wine ( Blanc de noir ) born from experimentation: 100% red grape Nerello Mascalese, which offers a fresh and vibrant white wine.
Great flavor with splendid notes of tropical fruit and a pleasant mineral finish.
The Domain: The company was founded in 2008 thanks to the rigorous attention paid by the Bevilacqua family in the recovery of the environmental context, in the restoration of the ancient vineyards, the palmenti, the stone terraces, testimony of the history of the places. Today, it develops on a surface of about 40 hectares, producing 11 types of wines.
The original terraces recovered thanks to a naturalistic architectural intervention, are cultivated by hand: skilled local workers dedicate their time and dedication to the vineyard following its natural cycle.
At the end of winter, the sheep graze the grass between the vines, and the teams hoe the earth, which is made softer by the flock's passage.
Each phase, from pruning to tying the vineyards is carried out with great manual skill, today as in times past the natural cycle is rediscovered in the characteristic Etna landscape.
