Alcohol: 13.5%
Grape(s): Grenache, Syrah, Carignan
Localization: Rhone Valley, France
Tasting Notes: Flavors of black and red currant, plum, and earthy spice. The palate is soft and fruity, with great weight, balance, and integration. An ample and well-rounded finish.
Notes: traditional type with a long maceration that lasts 15 to 20 days with gentle extraction methods. We carry out this vinification in such a way as to obtain wine for laying down. The conservation is done in vats, then 6 to 8 months in wood before being bottled
The Domain: If we look at the history books, we discover that in the Middle Ages there were vines on our land.
Later, in 1820, the Asseyras farm became a horse relay on the road linking Orange to Valréas and further on Dieulefit. The owner at the time was called Bourique, you can't make it up! It was said as an anecdote: "you will sit at the Asseyras!"
Since 1937 we have been cultivating the vines and transforming these precious grapes into wine. The sun of Provence, the Mistral are part of our daily life.
