The Domain: The history of Bodegas Enguera is the story of a dreamer. It is the story of someone who changed his star, someone who left a great legacy but who always maintained the essence of his roots, it is the story of Mr. Pedro Pérez Pardo.

D. Pedro was born on June 15, 1921 in Cortes de Pallás, a small mountain town of less than 1,000 inhabitants in the interior of the province of Valencia. From a humble and peasant family, he always had a special bond with agriculture and the rural world. He suffered the consequences of the harsh post-war that the country would go through in the following years. Without a doubt an event that would mark his life forever.

He never studied a university degree but he always had great concerns and cultivated the most valuable of qualities: the ability to deal with people. D. Pedro carried out a multitude of businesses, the distribution of butane being one of his greatest business successes. In 1960 he managed the distribution of butane throughout the Mediterranean region. Despite this and other achievements, his greatest dream had always been to create a winery that made great wines from his own vineyards.
