Tasting Notes: A fresh blend of Sauvignon Blanc with some Chardonnay that shows some saline and minerality that make a wonderful addition to a big plate of seafood fresh from the grill.
The Domain: Located in Cour-Cheverny, between Loire and Sologne, the Domaine des Huards is, after 7 generations, today the business of Jocelyne and Michel, and the succession is ensured by Alexandre and Paulina.
Always very careful with their vines, and very attached to the balance of their soils, the Gendrier family has been cultivating their estate biodynamically since 1998.
Continuing the tradition, together they produce wines from the emblematic Romorantin, but not only: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay also enhance the portfolio.
Apart from minimal doses of sulfur at bottling, no input is used in the cellar: the idea is to best express the terroir, in each vintage, while respecting the living.
