The Domain: Hence the decision to take up Grandfather Peppino's business in a modern way: thus the Riccio winery was born.
At just under 700 meters above sea level and immersed in the greenery of the rich hilly tradition of the area, the Riccio winery is located in one of the most characteristic villages of the Irpinia area, Chiusano di San Domenico, where the charm of ancient places is part of the ferment of vegetation and a landscape of extraordinary vitality. The presence of steep slopes makes it perfectly suited to cultivating vines and the abundant supply of waterways, accompanied by particularly favorable winds, give the wines produced in the area excellent qualitative characteristics.
In such a context, thanks to the careful and personal care of Giuseppe and his son Luigi, it was possible to combine the use of the most advanced cultivation and viticultural production techniques with the skilled work of expert hands and passionate men. The fruit of the vine, offered by a favorable and generous land, has thus been ennobled into a product of the highest quality, which is aimed at the most refined palates and the most demanding tastes.
