Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 90 Points- The 2016 Pinot Noir Tom's Block is light in hue but fragrant, with lovely herb-accented aromas of strawberries. It's juicy and mouthwatering on the palate, with a silky texture and a lingering finish. It's a top-flight effort but quite delicate in style. Drink it over the next few years.
Vineyards- Neudorf Home Block, Upper Moutere; Flaxmore Vineyard, Upper Moutere; Pomona Vineyard, Upper Moutere
Varietals- 100% Pinot Noir
Soil-Moutere Clay Gravels (100%)
Vintage Notes- A cool to moderate growing season with a challenging harvest period. Surprisingly, wines physiologically ripe at lower sugars with juicy acidity. They will be remembered as wines of focus, elegance, and graceful in stature.
