Alcohol: 13%

Grape(s): Agiorgitiko

Localization: Nemea, Greece

Tasting Notes: The fascinating expression of Agiorgitiko variety gives us a wine of deep red color. Red fruit flavors are dominated by ripe strawberry, cherry, and sour cherry, sweet spices, and chocolate. Round and velvety with balanced acidity and long-lasting finish.

The Domain: It all started in 1985, a landmark year for the quality revolution of wine in Greece. In the plain of Nemea, the largest viticultural zone in Greece, "Nemea Winery" was founded by Andreas Koutsodimos and Christos Gastouniotis. A small family business at the time, with steady and careful steps it built solid foundations and continues its upward trajectory to this day. It recognizes the painstaking collective effort that good wine requires, staying true to the person, the vintner, the winemaker, and the seller.

It is known that the quality of wine is constantly improving in recent years both in Greece and in other wine-producing countries. At the same time, the needs of consumers are also evolving. It is difficult to say whether consumer needs are driving developments in winemaking or vice versa. These differentiated consumer needs drive our wine thinking and practice. But we never forget that wine is the joy of life! It is the commitment of the first and second generations who together continue the family tradition of our winery!
