Produced by one of Virginia's best known winemakers, also with a winery in Burgundy, this Chardonnay is consistanly one of the best. Grown on a site in nearby Loudoun County with a longer growing season which allows ripeneing in the cooler nights of late September helping to improve acidity.
Bright notes of pear, apple and lemon on the nose. Lees aging adds brioche notes to the wine.
Excellent with cream sauces, triple creme brie, chicken or shellfish. ABV 13.4%
