The Fou de Pâtisserie adventure began in 2013, when Muriel Tallandier and Julie Mathieu, independent editors, had the idea of creating the very first French magazine exclusively dedicated to the world of chef pastry.
The concept is simple: to offer their readers recipes from the best chefs, collected directly from them, explained and supplemented to make them accessible.
From its first issue, the bimonthly magazine attracted a readership of enthusiasts, selling nearly 40,000 copies, and quickly established itself as the reference media on Pastry.
Buoyed by this success, Muriel and Julie are bursting with ideas to bring this ambitious concept to life: bringing together chefs in all forms and promoting the excellence of French craftsmanship. The first step: transposing their concept into a boutique, and bringing together in one place the best of haute pâtisserie from the greatest French pastry chefs.
