Alcohol: 15%
Grape(s): Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Vaccarèse
Localization: Châteauneuf du Pape, Rhone Valley, France
Tasting Notes: Le Serre des Mourres is fresh and inviting with aromas of raspberries and plums along with spices, lavender and hints of spice cake nuances. On the palate this nicely balanced with a gorgeous soft, round tannins, backed by core of juicy red fruits and spices which persist on the long finish. This is a lovely showing that should continue drinking well with some additional bottle age.
The Domain:
Guillaume took over the family business in 2006. He represents the fifth generation! Guillaume remains the only Independent Vigneron of Nyons.
Guillaume has been certified “ORGANIC” since 2013 for the cultivation of Côtes du Rhône Blanc, Rosé and Rouge. He will offer you a whole range of products from his AOP Nyons olive orchards!
Guillaume, respectful and lover of nature, defends the reintegration of vultures into the Baronnies of Provence, more precisely of the Bearded Vulture. The 2017 vintage will definitively mark this complicity. He dedicates his top-of-the-range vintage to the bird: “Cuvée du Gypa”.
