Localization: Languedoc, Southern France
Tasting notes: Solas Viognier is a well-balanced, food-friendly white with medium body and light characteristic fruit flavors - apricot and peach. Aromas of exotic fruit with hints of almond and honeysuckle on the finish.
Food pairing: This aromatic yet crisp Viognier would be the perfect white for dishes such garlic prawns, baked crayfish or sushi
The Domain: Maison Miquel includes Château Cazal Viel, Laurent Miquel wines and Domaine Les Auzines. The Maison Miquel has been known for its know-how for 8 generations in the production of wines from noble grape varieties on different terroirs of the Languedoc. It is particularly well known for its great whites made from the Viognier grape variety and bearing the signature of the winemaker. I am convinced that the protection of the environment, as well as the controlled use of natural resources, are essential components of the quality of its wines. This approach is not a constraint for me, but an opportunity to offer my children what the 8 generations of winegrowers have succeeded in passing on to us up to now.
