The Domain: Maison Miquel includes Château Cazal Viel, Laurent Miquel wines and Domaine Les Auzines. The Maison Miquel has been known for its know-how for 8 generations in the production of wines from noble grape varieties on different terroirs of the Languedoc. It is particularly well known for its great whites made from the Viognier grape variety and bearing the signature of the winemaker. I am convinced that the protection of the environment, as well as the controlled use of natural resources, are essential components of the quality of its wines. This approach is not a constraint for me, but an opportunity to offer my children what the 8 generations of winegrowers have succeeded in passing on to us up to now. In fact, grassing is encouraged, in order to limit erosion and soil pollution by the use of phytopersistent products. Prophylactic measures have been put in place so that treatments are only applied when absolutely necessary.
