Tasting Notes: This medium ruby-colored pinot noir has the texture and length normally associated exclusively with high-end Sonoma pinots. The aromas grab your attention with raspberries and black cherries made complex with juniper berries, tea, and forest floor.  The cool-climate fruit has rich, fresh and vibrant flavors of cherries, berries, and spiced plums along with subtle notes of black tea and vanilla. The finish is long and textured, showing layer after layer.  

Notes: La Follette "Los Primeros" Pinot Noir is deep, full, opulently textured (100%) pinot noir. The fruit is entirely from two first-class vineyards, one in Sonoma County, one in Monterey County. Famed winemaker Greg La Follette (literally) wrote the book on texture and mouthfeel in wine.
