This Cuvee continues to be the entry point for classically produced Cabernet Sauvignon in the Napa Valley. Bright and fresh red fruits are showing vibrantly in this vintage and will continue to for years to come.
Notes: The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced mainly from our two vineyards in St. Helena: the Only One Vineyard and the Spring Valley Vineyard. While this wine can age for decades, it is intended to be an exceptional entry point into the classic Heitz style and hints at what can be experienced with our single vineyard wines. To craft a wine that can be enjoyed upon release, we farm these blocks to be harvested earlier in the year and age the wines in a very small percentage of new oak.

In April 2018, Heitz Cellar entered an exciting new chapter as this rich legacy was passed into the hands of the Lawrence family, whose deep roots in agriculture and commitment to the same core values of fine winemaking made it a perfect match. The wines are made with an unwavering commitment to quality from organically farmed, 100% Napa Valley fruit, and a commitment to the sustainability of Napa Valley.
