This is a BIG beer! The flavor is bitter at first, lots of dry pine resin and spruce oil - it's earthy + spicy - almost hot and peppery which maybe why Evil Twin calls this "Molotov cocktail". The spicy resin flavors turn fruity just briefly as some sweet tropical mango and orange comes through, then it gets back into more bitter flavors with a sort of rye-bread & toasted pumpernickel malt flavor. Aftertaste of bittersweet orange peel and spicy pine resin, as well as a clean soothing, warming alcohol aftertaste.
